Kamarul Zaman has over 25 years of experience in the world of training, consulting and entrepreneurship in Asia. He works with organisations on business strategy, leadership skills, performance management, and organisational transformation. A chartered accountant by qualification (CIMA), Kamarul held a senior management position as a financial controller in an Australian organisation, before becoming a successful entrepreneur.

In 1996, at the height of the Asian financial crisis, he took over an ailing company turned it into a profitable business, transforming it from a 100% local market to a 100% export-based company, distributing products to over 30 countries. The company won consecutive awards such as The Export Excellence Award from the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Malaysia and the Selangor State Government.

Kamarul has trained thousands of managers at various levels and cultural backgrounds, from the Americas, Europe, and across Asia. In the last two years alone, Kamarul has trained over one thousand people managers in performance management across major banks in Malaysia.  Kamarul is a Certified Professional Trainer from International Professional Managers’ Association, UK.
