Everybody is in the business of selling something. Everybody. Whether we realise it or not, we sell all the time, opinions, ideas, concepts, products and visions, in hope that others will buy into whatever it is we are selling.
The question is how well do we sell? Being persuasive - getting others to do what we want them to - is key to selling well. Think of Elon Musk and how investors buy into his futuristic interplanetary travel vision despite the product being work in progress.
In our recent workshop with the sales team of a Fortune 500 healthcare company, we explored the art and science of selling persuasively, and how to overcome seemingly insurmountable barriers with them. Had great fun with this lot of energetic sales team - Happy Selling!
